Today after an eight month hiatus I give an update on what’s been going on around here, update on my elbow injury which was not guitar related but kept me from playing regularly for a year, and the J-45 I picked up last fall.
Today we talk with Otto D’Ambrosio from Eastman Guitars. We talk about the construction and craft behind Eastman’s instruments, what’s next as well as how Otto came up working on guitars to become a builder.
I just created two videos illustrating the depth of despair the amp was in and the effort required to bring it back to life and keep it’s mojo. Big thanks to Bobby Getchel at Getchel Amplification who recapped and wired the amp. It also needed a new output transformer.
