This week is a story about my friend, Matt’s beloved 1960 Gibson J-50 that was his grandfather’s guitar. Needed some much deserved attention. See photos below of the crack mentioned in the show as well as it paired up with my J-45.
Today after an eight month hiatus I give an update on what’s been going on around here, update on my elbow injury which was not guitar related but kept me from playing regularly for a year, and the J-45 I picked up last fall.
Remember to trust your ear.
Today we talk with Otto D’Ambrosio from Eastman Guitars. We talk about the construction and craft behind Eastman’s instruments, what’s next as well as how Otto came up working on guitars to become a builder.
