I just created two videos illustrating the depth of despair the amp was in and the effort required to bring it back to life and keep it’s mojo. Big thanks to Bobby Getchel at Getchel Amplification who recapped and wired the amp. It also needed a new output transformer. Check out the videos below and see how this 1951 Gibson GA-20 Rehabilitation came back to life!
This week I talk about the versatility of the classic Marshall JCM 800 and that I wish I still had my old JCM 900 and an old “grandpa” 1936 Gibson L-37. Oh, and I also have a short rant about the current state of country music. No worries, I still like some of it.
Episode 95 has more questions and comments from the facebook people! Cool comment about the Gretch Duo-Jet and some questions about amps. Enjoy! Well, listen and enjoy!
This week I talk about a bunch of stuff. (really Loren? a bunch of stuff?) Listen here…
